Installation of decorative header

Step 1 : INSTALLATION MARKING

Trace a horizontal line using a level to adjust high of your different units (at 78" 3/4 or (200.5 cm) for a decorative header).

Step 2 : MARKING STUDS LOCATION

Mark location of wall studs with the help of a level or measuring tape.

Use vertical lines to identify studs to firmly fasten units on the wall.

Pro’s advice :
As a general rule, studs are usually spaced at 16” (41 cm) in recent buildings and 12” (30.5 cm) for older ones.

Step 3 – ANCHORING ALL UNITS

You can use « metal or plastic grips » to help you align all your units. Anchor them with « #6 1 1/8’’ »melamine screws

Step 4 – INSTALLING ACCESSORIES AND CLEANING THE UNITS

Using a non-abrasive cleaning product, clean the units. Install knobs or handles, faucet, lights, etc.
