Step 1 - GETTING STARTED
Find the highest area of the floor using a « level ».

Step 2 - INSTALLATION POINT
Then, trace a horizontal line using a level to adjust height of your different units (31 1/2” or 80.5 cm for a vanity).

Step 3 - MARKING STUDS LOCATIONS
Trace horizontal lines as displayed here, using a level or measuring tape, to mark stud locations.
Use vertical lines to identify studs to firmly anchor units on the wall.
Pro's advice:
As a general rule, studs are usually spaced at 16” (41 cm) in recent buildings and 12” (30.5 cm) for older ones.

Step 4 - LEVELING
Make sure the unit is level at the front and on the sides. If necessary, you can use cedar wedges.

Step 5 - ANCHORING TO THE WALL
Anchor the vanity to the wall using « #8 2 ½’’ to 3’’» wood screws with the wood crosspiece at the back of the vanity.

Step 6 - ANCHORING ALL UNITS
You can use « metal or plastic grips » to help you align all your units. Anchor them with « #6 1 1/8’’» melamine screws.

Step 7 - INSTALLING ACCESSORIES AND CLEANING THE UNITS
Using a non-abrasive cleaning product, clean the units. Install knobs or handles, faucet, lights, etc.
